I’ve been playing basketball since I was 6. I was a D1 recruit before tearing my ACL the summer before senior year, an injury that led me to walk away from the game completely. Though I dabbled in coaching rec leagues and mentoring high schoolers, I shifted focus in college, studying Mass Communications and photography and spending my 20s exploring other creative paths. In 2023, life brought me back to basketball. By March Madness 2024, I found myself passionately analyzing the game online simply because I had no one to talk hoops with. That spark led to the creation of the Hoops Tribe, a growing community built to celebrate the culture, power, and people of the game.
